Some day I'll buy adult silverware..this is a collection of Dollar Tree forks, knives and spoons. |
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup, light or dark (I prefer light...I don't know why but I've tried both and light is my favorite.)
- 1/2 cup butter (salted)
- 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 loaf French bread (get a good baguette from Publix). Original recipe says crusts removed, I say either way is delicious.
- 5 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Oh my word, this looks amazing! Definitely keeping this for future reference :)
ReplyDeleteYou don't even know...I really can't even explain the goodness. You just have to eat it.
DeleteI'm working on some printable recipe cards to give as a freebie and I'll probably make a few ready-made with some of my favorite dishes. This one is FOR SURE being made printable. The world just has to know.
ok - so we'll come over for Sunday lunch, you make this, and i'll bring my basset so our hounds can be friends! :)
ReplyDeleteCan we please make this a real plan? Like seriously. Before summer is over I demand we become real life friends.
Delete(I'm sure I'm off to an awesome start being so demanding and all)
That looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g! My husband would die if I made him something that delicious. Frozen berries in drinks are the best!
ReplyDeleteIt is soooo good. I can't even explain it. It just has to be experienced. I love frozen berries in drinks! I use them for cocktails and mocktails all the time!
DeleteThis looks delicious! I am definitely a fan of french toast of any sort. This looks like a great brunch dish.
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite brunch of all time. I normally don't like French toast but Oh. Em. Gee.
DeleteDelicious home made foods are always a hit. I've never had creme brulee french toast.
ReplyDeleteYou've got to have this one! It's so so wonderful!
DeleteI am slightly jealous, this looks super Yummy. :-)
ReplyDeleteHop on over to the States and I'll make it for you! :)
DeleteOh my gosh this look absolutely amazing! I love such a classy and yummy brunch date too. I think I might have to host a girl's day sometime soon! Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteGirl. You don't even know. You haven't tasted bliss until you've tasted this. And you get more of a custardy yumminess if you cut the crusts off the bread...recent discovery...and basically I just want to eat this all the time.
