I love gifts. Love love love them. Giving them is my favorite, although I can't keep them secret to save my life. Last summer I was making something for my parents, walked into the kitchen, looked at my mom, and said, "I'm making something." She, naturally, asked what and kind of gave me a look like "why are you telling me this, strange daughter." I responded, "I can't tell you. It's a present." And then walked back out of the kitchen.
